Brady Family Professor and Area Chair for Strategy & Innovation, Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business

Marco Ceccagnoli is the Brady Family Professor of Management, Professor of Strategy and Innovation, and Chair of the Strategy & Innovation Area at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business. His research examines the economics and strategic management of innovation, with particular emphasis on technology commercialization, intellectual property, markets for technology, and the strategies firms use to create and capture value from technological innovation. His work has appeared in leading journals including Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, Research Policy, MIS Quarterly, and Information Systems Research. His research and teaching address how technological change, intellectual property, complementary capabilities, and industry ecosystems shape innovation, entrepreneurship, and firm performance.
