Alexandra joined PX Group SA in 2014 as Head of Innovation and Development for the Refining Division at PX Precinox SA, driving innovative precious metals refining processes with a strong focus on sustainability. Building on six years of applied R&D in urban mining and bioleaching program conducted within PX Precinox, she recently co-founded iUMiX SA, a spin-off of PX Group, and was appointed CEO, leading a venture that recovers traceable critical and precious metals from electronic and urban waste through low-impact processes and a value-sharing ecosystem.

She holds a master's degree in Materials Physics and Surfaces from Polytech Nantes and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Process Engineering from Arts et Mé tiers ParisTech (2002), followed by over a decade as a lecturer and researcher in chemistry and process engineering with research spanning surface treatment processes and their applications in nanotechnology, magnetism, and corrosion. She has (co)authored over 30 publications and earned her accreditation to direct research (HDR) in 2012.

Her interdisciplinary expertise continues to drive advances in both green chemistry and innovative refining, now channeled into iUMiX's mission.
